Interclub Match Detling v Tonbridge wells 3rd october 2008

Detling held it's return match with Tonbridge Wells on Friday 3rd October. The teams consisted of 6 puppies, 8 adults and 4 verterans. Sue Bird - Bearded Collies, was our judge for the occasion. It was a lovely evening and even more so when Detling were declaired Best Club!!

Our first match with Tonbridge Wells took place last year and they won hands down - so tonight was a complete reversal of that result and I am really glad with the performances of all the dogs that took part. So, to all of you a big THANK YOU!

Best in Match was Paul Brownes' Alaskan Malamute - Laska (Paul's on a roll, as he also won BIM at the Sept Match with Laska). Best Puppy was Malcolm Pucknell's GSD, Blaze and Best Veteran was the Austrailian Shepherd, Louis owned by David Angier.

Thanks must also go to Sue Fray for once again putting on a fabulous buffet.
